Ken founded Emissary Partners in 2003. He has 20 years of experience in international executive search and management consulting.

Ken was a partner of Heidrick and Struggles for 13 years, having co-founded their Australian operations in 1989. During this time he served as Managing Partner, Australia (1989-1993), Managing Partner, Tokyo (1998-2000) and was Practice Leader in Asia Pacific for 8 years.

With a wealth of search experience in board consultancy, CEO and senior executive positions, Ken's client reference list is extensive and diverse. Prior to executive search, he spent 15 years in the insurance industry in Australia and the UK including Director positions of international insurance companies such as Alexander and Alexander (now AON).

Qualified FAICD, ANZIIF (Senior Associate) CIP, Ken is also a Trustee of the Committee for Economic Development of Australia. He has fulfilled a variety of leadership positions in volunteer organisations including Chairman-Protocol for the Organising Committee of the XII Commonwealth Games.
