Mitch O’Brien is a principal at Emissary and heads up the Emerging Talent Practice. He has worked across a broad range of clients in the Consumer, Financial, Gaming, Industrial, Resources and Technology sectors.

Mitch is dedicated to finding and assessing high calibre future leaders. As part of our emerging talent initiative he represents clients at a select group of the world’s top business schools including: AGSM, Columbia, Harvard, INSEAD, Kellogg, LBS, MBS, Stanford & Wharton.

Additionally, Mitch provides coaching and career programs that are individually tailored to emerging executives and middle managers.

Mitch commenced his career in sales and marketing working with Nestle in Australia and later with Marks and Spencer PLC in the UK & Europe. In 1999, he returned to Australia to join M&C Saatchi - taking up a consulting role within their internet services division.

Mitch holds a Graduate Diploma in Psychology; a Masters of Commerce (IT and Management) and Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing and Human Resource Management). He is currently completing his Honours in Psychology.
